What is Failsafe?
Failsafe exists so that difficult endings don't become permanent ones. It's steadiness for founders and builders after something they built comes apart — a company, a career, a case, a plan for their life.
Who is this for?
Anyone carrying the end of a company, the weight of a lawsuit, a career that suddenly disappeared, or a dream that didn't survive. You don't have to explain yourself or justify why you're here. If it ended and it's on you, this is for you.
What is a stability grant?
Funding for the essentials — housing, health care, therapy, the obligations that don't pause. Grants are typically $10k–$50k. There are no collectors and no timetable; it's meant to lower the pressure, not add to it.
Do I have to pay a grant back?
No. It's a grant, not a loan. There's no repayment, no interest, and nothing owed afterward — including gratitude. It exists so you can make clearer decisions, and that's all it needs to do.
What can I use the money for?
The things that keep life steady while you find your footing — rent, health care, therapy, the obligations that keep coming. You decide what counts as essential. We trust you to know what keeps your life steady right now.
What do you need from me to qualify?
No application to perform, no evidence to package, no story to make presentable. You tell us what happened in your own words, and we ask only what we genuinely need in order to help.
Is money the only thing you offer?
No. There's quiet connection to others who've carried an ending, plain-English help closing things down well — notices, communications, paperwork — and honest stories told with consent. Money is one part of it, not the whole of it.
Will anyone know I reached out?
Everything is private by default. We don't publish names, we don't share what you tell us, and we never turn anyone into a case study or a testimonial. Your ending belongs to you.
What if I don't want to rebuild?
That's allowed. We will never ask you to bounce back, get back on the horse, or treat what happened as a growth opportunity. Some people build again and some don't — both are ways forward.
